From Mommy and Daddy Charlie got a 'doctor's kit' (although, I'm rather loving this gift idea which this three year old received). So here, he is the jack-of-all-trades - checking his temperature on his finger...

Trimming the Tree ~ 2009

Handy Honey

One of our good friends, who is a builder, gave us some Mexican travertine tiles that he had leftover. What a blessing! We were able to do this gorgeous backsplash for practically nothing!

Paul even added the under-cabinet lighting which is all wired to a switch.  It is gorgeous - I absolutely love it.  I can't believe how much that stone warms up the kitchen.  Thank you Honey :)  (in my Oz voice: pay no attention to the clutter, and over-turned bowl, on the kitchen island!)
