THE KEEPER OF THE KEYS

THE KEEPER OF THE KEYS
The mother is the "Keeper of the Keys" ~ she knows where everything is in the household. The family comes to her when searching for something... anything. Likewise, the mother is the heart of the home. As "the keep" is protection for the fortress ~ the mother is the protector of her children's souls. Come visit what goes on behind our castle doors...

Quotable

The Church is not out of step with society; society is out of step with the Church.

Never read books you aren't sure about... even supposing that these bad books are well written from a literary point of view. Let me ask you this: Would you drink something you knew was poisoned just because it was offered to you in a golden cup? - St. John Bosco

Stupidity is also a gift of God, but one mustn't misuse it.
-Pope John Paul II

"The Most Important Person on earth is a mother. She cannot claim the honor of having built Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any cathedral, a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of her baby's body. The angels have not been blessed with such a grace. They cannot share in God's creative miracle to bring new saints to Heaven. Only a human mother can. Mothers are closer to God the Creator than any other creature; God joins forces with mothers in performing this act of creation…What on God's good earth is more glorious than this: to be a mother?" ~ Cardinal Mindszenty
