Laundry Detergent

I am so going to try this. A little work, but money-saving - I think with this recipe it's approx. 1 penny per load! That's a lot of pennies 'round here! Let me know if you try this or if you've tried making your own detergent... happy laundering ;)

Thanks to one of my friends on FB - and one of her friends for the link :)

Shelly, I make my own detergent with the same ingredients but I just use them dry. 1 tbsp per load and the vinegar in the fabric softener slot. It works fine and it is definitely cheaper than store-bought.

I hope you don't mind but I have a some questions -----
WHY do you homeschool?
What is/was the hardest or most unexpected part?
What curriculum do you use?
What is the highest grade you have taught to your kids?
Do you plan for them to transition into any other kind of schooling in the future?

We are making some big changes and I am hoping for sage advice :-)

Feel free to email me or just leave the answers in a com box over at A Catholic Notebook.
I truly appreciate any information you have to share.

PS) I'd love it if you added me to your FB friends. Look up my name (my profile picture is a drawn picture of a little "Suzy Homemaker" girl). Just include a message so I know it is you.
