THE KEEPER OF THE KEYS
The mother is the "Keeper of the Keys" ~ she knows where everything is in the household. The family comes to her when searching for something... anything. Likewise, the mother is the heart of the home. As "the keep" is protection for the fortress ~ the mother is the protector of her children's souls.
