Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea and Obama is elected president.

Okay, so I added the last part. Hope the first part helps anyway.

I am thanking St Patrick for his words!

"I summon today all these powers between me and evil,
Against every cruel merciless power that opposes my body and soul, Against false prophets, false laws and idolatry . . . .

Christ with me,
Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ in the heart of every one who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every one who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me, Christ in the ear that hears me."

I am changing my focus to God -- the election result is too depressing.

When I was growing up, my parents always said that raindrops were the tears of angels crying for our sins. Right now I am in the midst of a huge thunderstorm and it is raining like crazy.

I love Danette's Psalm 46:1-2!

Yes, worry and be depressed. ~sigh~

Yesterday I was weighted down by the election. And today I am, too. But there is nothing I can do except continue changing myself. As one of my friends said, "God will change this country one heart at a time." So let's get to work!

LOVE the St. Patrick words of encouragement!

I hope it isn't as bad as it seems. We can still pray for miracles -

I guess the one up side:

Your Blog will get back to more personal things such as pictures and stories about the kids, and not such much political stuff :)

After a long and sleepless night..
I've decided that I'm going to place the president elect in my prayers. God has worked miracles in my life and I'm just a simple housewife. I'm praying for change and hope :)

At least Ga went to McCain. Thanks be to God. I'm happy to live in a red state. My old stomping ground of MD went to Obama. It is time now to pray for the man in office. God can change hearts. So let's work on changing his. YOu have a wonderful blog!
