Who Can Comment?

YOU can comment!
When I first started blogging back in May I had it in my mind that it would be for family and friends who were/are out of town-ers. You know...to get a real feel for the daily grind around here. To keep up with what's going on with us - especially the kids. If they can feel like: Hey, I'm glad I live hundreds of miles from them. Then I've done my part of informing the fam!
BUT I'm not too sure that family and friends actually read this blog - and that's who it was intended for! Now I'm not saying anything against my family - who, btw, I see every week [w/the exception of my brother] and I know they read it - I'm glad that they read the blog, just in case they didn't get the down-low here at the house! However, I haven't a clue if other family even checks this place out. No one leaves any kind of comment - "Hey, cute kid" "Wow, nice haircut." "Sorry you had a crumby day!" "I'll take Joseph for a couple days." "Wanna go on a vacation to the beach?" - NOTHIN' ::smile::
Well, while trying to change some HTML formatting on my blog [which as you can see, didn't work...oh! - only if you check this blog out would you have noticed such a thing. I was trying to add another sidebar.] I noticed that my comments were only for those of you with Google accounts. Not anymore! I pressed a special button and now anyone can leave a comment!
So, if you're new here - and you know who you are - give me a little somethin' - huh? Hit the comment button and let me know how many days you'll keep Joseph!

Unfortunately I am an out-of-towner and cannot take your Joseph for a while - but please accept my virtual hug - I share in your stress. Pop over to my blog and read "Stressed Out", it mught help??? Maybe???
Patience and peace to you... Ruby

Although I'm not family, you can drop Charlie off anytime you're in Ohio. He and Danny would have a blast! Just gotta make sure Jane doesn't let them escape out the door.... :)
Have a great day!

Ruby: No, my post was *all* in jest! Just to inform that comments are accepted, but what a boring post that would've been if I just said, "Anyone can now post a comment"! I mean, it's boring anyway!
Danette: Charlie's time will come, but right now he's in that "Mama's angel-can-do-no-wrong stage". I'll be dropping Joseph off...together he and Jane can let everyone escape :O)

okay...who's the wise-guy who deleted a comment...

Well, I'm one of those not-family people who doesn't count, but I look at your blog. :)

Don't you love the mama-can-do-no-wrong stage? See, *my* boy will stay in that forever, I'm sure. Ah, bliss . . .

I laughed.
Mostly because lately I am ready to trade my 2 yo at certain moments during the day. All I can say is... Thank God those Egyptian caravans don't run by my door. In a moment of weakness who knows!!

Hi Shelly! There are so many times I've wanted to comment, but I didn't want to set up an account, so............

I love reading your blog! Your family is beautiful and Hanna would love to take care of Joseph!!!

I know what you mean about family! The people I did my blog the most for, hardly ever read it! But you gotta know I stop by your blog everyday! And I may not be family but I am a Godmother and hope to be an in-law some day! And you know Joseph is allowed here anytime, although I think the boys would insist on the other kids coming too. You and Paul are probably optional as far as they are concerned, but for Kent and I your guys are a must! So pick a date and let us know!

You guys (meaning you and Paul) are a must.

Can you add some sort of edit comment feature for those of use who hit post before we actually read what we wrote to see if it actually make sense! :o)

I know those of you who come by - whether a comment is left or not. This really is a prod for family...though it's really becoming something else :o0

Well, atleast you know you are loved by many!

Joseph can come over any time as long as he leaves the car keys alone, that is. Of course who knows what bad habits he would pick up from my unruly kids! Just kidding (I think).

Shelly said...

Okay Vicki, I'm taking you up on that!!! LOL

Hey look, Joseph can move in over here and just live with us - we NEED another boy for Gabriel LOL!

Just let me know when I can come get him! ;)

oh... stop your complaining...!
Wow, after reading all these comments... I realize that you really DON'T need family reading the blog.
Of course you know I read your blog... but, as far as the rest of the family... maybe they don't click on the link... maybe do a little advertising for your blog. Just a thought.

Shelly said...

Just a thought, but if *any* one should be 'offering' to take Joseph for a couple days, it *should* be his own godmother!! Sheesh!

.... ahhh... Joey-Joe... he is wanted by many...! Praise God for his mother's many, many good-hearted friends! But, oh, they have no idea!
I will be happy to take him with me when I go.. I just don't think the place I enter will be happy to have him! ;)
