Not Just for Animals!

Yeah, we see the statues in the gardens and such. But I often wonder. Do these people really know who St. Francis of Assisi was? I don't know tons about him, but I do know that he is more than a 12th century Steve Irwin.

*He was considered a religious nut, for a time, going door to door begging [when he had come from such a wealthy family and had given all his belongings away]
*He was not a priest
